Day 1
Arrival and proceed to Dambulla. Enroute visit the Pinnawala elephant orphanage. Then proceed to visit the Dambulla rock cave temple. Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. . Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are related to Gautama Buddha and his life with a total of 153 Buddha statues. Overnight stay at Sigiriya Day 2 After breakfast proceed to Habarana to take part in bird watching and nature walk or visit Sigiriya rock .On completion return back to the Hotel or take part in an optional excursion to the Minneriya National park. Overnight stay at SIGIRIYA Day 3 After breakfast proceed to Anuradhapura for the day excursion and city tour. Anuradhapura is the first well planned capital in Sri Lanka. The king Pandukabhaya did a systematic administration of the capital Anuradhapura, dividing as inner and outer city. After him many kings had ruled Anuradhapura Kingdom, Rreturn back to Dambulla Overnight stay Sigiriya Day 4 After breakfast check out and proceed to Kandy.Visit the temple of the tooth & the Royal botanical gardens. Kandy : The golden-roofed Temple of the Sacred Tooth houses Sri Lanka’s most important Buddhist relic – a tooth of the Buddha Overnight stay at Kandy Day 5 After breakfast proceed to Nuwaraeliya . Nuwara Eliya is a city in the tea country hills of central Sri Lanka. The naturally landscaped Hakgala Botanical Gardens displays roses and tree ferns, and shelters monkeys and blue magpies. Enroute visit a tea factory plantation. At Nuwaraeliya visit the Seetha amman temple, Hakgala botanical gardens & Gregory’s lake. Overnight at Nuwareliya Day 6 After breakfast check out and proceed to Colombo. CIty tour of Colombo. Overnight stay at Colombo Day 7 After breakfast check out and proceed to the Airport for your return flight |
